The Nepal Engineers' Association (NEA) recently conducted its biennial election, with engineers from across the country voting to elect the 34th Central Executive Committee and the third Provincial Executive Committees for all seven provinces. The election was held in 14 locations, with Kathmandu utilizing electronic voting machines (EVMs) for the first time.
Vote counting has begun, and results are being announced gradually. Bagmati Province has already completed its election, with representatives selected from the Kathmandu, Bharatpur, and Hetauda centers. The final results for the Central Executive Committee and the other six provinces are expected soon, as the NEA prepares for new leadership to guide the engineering community forward.
