1. Organizational Vision and Mission

a) To institutionalize the professional dignity, recognition, and contribution of engineers and architects.

b) To develop a result-oriented, dynamic, and efficient engineering community aligned with national and global priorities.

 

2. Quality Education in Engineering

a) To support and contribute to national and international quality education systems through collaboration with academic and professional institutions.

b) To establish inclusive programs and support networks that uplift underprivileged and marginalized engineering/ architecture students and provide them with equal opportunities for professional advancement.

 

3. Research, Innovation, and Scientific Advancement

a) To promote high-quality theoretical, applied, and interdisciplinary research, and technical innovation in engineering.

b) To foster a strong research culture by collaborating with national and international organizations through the appropriate use of science and technology for national development.

 

4. Employment and Entrepreneurship

a) To advocate for meaningful employment of engineers and architects in all national development initiatives and ensure their leadership in planning, execution, and supervision.

b) To empower engineers in entrepreneurship—especially in national priority sectors—by strengthening the institutional ecosystem for innovation and enterprise.

 

5. Infrastructure Development and Sustainability

a) To ensure that infrastructure, housing, and construction projects are conducted in a technically sound, environmentally responsible, and sustainable manner.

b) To engage engineers with government and private sector agencies in infrastructure planning, design, and implementation.

 

6. Policy Advocacy and Applied Research

a) To involve engineers in evidence-based policymaking in areas of science, technology, engineering, and innovation.

b) To promote research and development (R&D) in partnership with local governments and academic institutions to drive localized, sustainable solutions.

 

7. National and International Cooperation

a) To strengthen NEA’s engagement with national and international engineering bodies such as WFEO, FEISCA, and others to promote knowledge sharing, technological advancement, and engineering excellence.

b) To create a global platform for Nepali engineers that fosters recognition, professional exchange, and international collaboration.

 

8. Social Responsibility and Ethical Commitment

a) To uphold accountability in environmental governance, disaster risk reduction, and sustainable development initiatives.

b) To promote ethical, service-oriented engineering practices that reflect responsibility toward society, environment, and future generations.
